Ingrid Betancourt met with Pope Benedict XVI in his summer home just south of Rome on Monday.Ingrid said that The Pope played an integral part in her keeping faith that she was going to be rescued.At one of her lowest points, when she felt like giving up, she heard his voice on the radio talking about her and the other hostages and she felt revived and overjoyed because she thought the world had forgotten about them.
