Telethon 'Everyone with Cuba' a Huge Success in Miami
AmericaTeVe channel 41 held Saturday the telethon "Junto a Cuba Teleton 41"- "Everyone with Cuba" with great success where more than $190,144.00 and two truckloads of items were collected -- items of vital importance to our Cuban brothers and sisters facing the difficult situation left behind by the devastation of Hurricane Ike. The station's talent and executives, popular artists and lots of solidarity made their presence felt in this historic telethon, where the Cuban community rushed to the streets to reach the station grounds with their share of support for the island nation. This is proof, once again, that tragedy unites us and that the Cuban community finds in AmericaTeVe the means to provide and receive assistance. I have to say I'm proud of America Teve for the amazing coverage... Once again making a statement on the airwaves of South Florida. Congrats to Jesus Salas and his team, for the great idea...
